Kong Takes Melbourne To New Heights


After months of anticipation, the eagerly awaited King Kong: The Musical opened at Melbourne Regent Theatre last night.

After five years in development, the spectacular musical opened to hundreds of audience members eager to gain a glimpse of the ape himself.

Starring Esther Hannaford (Anna Darrow), Adam Lyon (Carl Denham), and Chris Ryan (Jack Driscoll) amongst a star-studded cast, King Kong looks set to take Melbourne Regent Theatre to new heights.

Exclusive only to Melbourne, the production is the first of its kind with Kong left in the hands of production team Global Creatures, makers of Walking with Dinosaurs – The Arena Spectacular and How To Train Your Dragon Spectacular.

Set to receive rave reviews from critics as the coming days unfold, King Kong is now playing in Melbourne Regent Theatre to near sell-out audience each night.
